Go to Thamrin City Using Public Transportation Transjakarta

Thamrin City Mall
Jl. K.H. Mas Mansyur, Kebon Melati, Tanah Abang, Kb. Melati, Kota Jakarta Pusat, Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta 10230

Thamrin City or Thamrin City Mall is a large shopping center located in Central Jakarta, located ± 150 meters from Bundaran HI ("Hotel Indonesia Roundabout") and ± 300 meters from Tanah Abang Market.

How to get there by public transportation?
Transjakarta is one of the option. Transjakarta 8c is the route that have stopped in front of Thamrin City Mall. The route is from Iskandar Muda - Stasiun Tanah Abang. One of the BRT Station that passed is Pasar Kebayoran Lama. The rest of stasiun is Halte Pengampu which means the stop area is not on Transjakarta stop but on the left side of road which has a sign Transjakarta bus stop. The entrance you get is Cosmo Terrace Lobby.

Athough Thamrin city is smaller than Tanah Abang, Thamrin City offers good similiar to those sold at Tanah Abang. The good one is this place is less crowded so you'll more comfortable to shop. On my opinion, Thamrin City is the best place for shopping especially for you who is looking for muslim wears. Beside muslim wears, there are also batik, Family wear like T-shirt, shirt, pants or shoes, Cellular center, Woven fabric and crafts, and the last Pasar Tasik. You just need to exploring the whole thamrin city and you'll got anything you need. In this mall there is a block that separates the categories of goods for example if you are looking for muslim wears go to the D1 (Ground 1), D (Ground), 3A and fifth floors. From men and women’s Muslim clothes to accessories, everything related to Muslim wear can be found here, with a range of prices. Looking for Batik? Thamrin City has batik section which is the building especially sell the batik with various designs of ready to wear batik. Batik can be found on D1, D and the 1st and 2nd floor.

If you feel hungry, you can go to 2nd floor because they have huge food court with many menus with reasonable pricing and of course the taste is good.

Okay thats all my information that I have and I hope this is informative. I am sorry for my bad stucture english :( I'm trying to make it better. Why I use english on this post? Because I think there are foreigners who want to come to jakarta to shop at Thamrin City so maybe they see my post and this post can help them 😄

Happy Shopping Everyone!

Best Regards,
